Day Twenty

I had the idea that I should make a plexiglass box with hand holes for cutting, to keep shards and fly away pieces contained and safe, yet allow me to see what I am doing. I told Milos and he suggested I just use a plastic storage container. I emptied some scarves from one that is shoebox sized...

... but Milos surprised me when he came home from work with a nice roomy one. He plans to cut two hand holes for me. It will be a bit like an ICU infant incubator.
Do you notice the little orange plastic handled tool in the top picture? That just arrived from Hong Kong - Milos ordered it as a surprise too! It is a glass cutter with oil in the handle that drips onto the cutting blade. Pressing releases a valve that drips. I am sad to report however that my darling nippers are a bit of a pain. One of the blades gets loose constantly and I have to tighten it.
