Over the Easter weekend my husband and eldest son glued the tiles to the wall - Elements Yttrium - and yesterday I finished the grouting -my share of the effort. Now I get to look to the mosaic, which will cover the wood wall. I have vetted a design with the family and explored a few variations. Here you see a mockup I did in Photoshop Elements. Now today I will make a "fieldtrip" to a tile store to buy supplies. Yesterday I planned out as best I could estimate how many tiles of each color I will need. This will be my first wall mosaic. I have been wanting to make one for years. The design is art nouveau inspired. The greenhouse is technically my husband's, and he loves art nouveau.
