I have been pretty caught up in being a grandma - I am Babi. I love creating outfits for my granddaughters! These are modern takes on traditional Czech Kroj (folk costume). I did research on the internet, created a Pinterest board:
Czech Bohemian Kroj, then searched online for fabrics and lace. I have some authentic embroidered ribbons that I bought way back when Czechia was still the CSSR that I was able to use. The "vests" are actually embroidered stretch velour. The dresses are all one piece with only a little snap opening at the side of the front neckline. To see an image larger, click on it.
